iPhone Nano 2011
If you’re even a bit plugged in with using the iPod Nano, you know what to expect from the iPhone Nano. 2011 seems to be the most lucrative year for Apple. Well, when you have a 2011 installment for every damn gadget you created, you can’t help but repose in snugness. While both the Apple iPad 2 and the iPhone 5 release dates are dead set on around Spring, and back-fence talks regarding the third installment of iPad, the iPad 3, are zooming all over, Apple’s small package called the iPhone Nano has eventually made a successful place for itself. Know why? You would’ve never imagined using a smartphone that’s the size of a candy, have you?
The Apple iPhone Nano 2011 is one-third the size of the actual iPhone, and is definitely cheaper. So, here’s our seasoning on the new iPhone Nano review. Hold on tight to every word that follows, if you’re one of those stony-broke fellas who could never buy an iPhone because it was no less than an arm and a leg!
iPhone Nano 2011: What’s the Buzz?
You thought you’d just have to do with the rumors! No! It’s actually happening. Let us start with the iPhone Nano price range. Now, this device christened as the smaller, but equally impressive, version of the iPhone is much, much cheaper than all the four versions of iPhone. You know, when the Apple iPhone hit the market, the price was un-subsidized, and hence, for this reason the sales didn’t catch enough fire.
However, considering the market scenario then, Apple had no other option but to drop the price of the iPhone by at least $200. Post that, when the Apple iPhone 2G hit the market, Apple took the subsidy of AT&T with all its heart, and thus, with a price of $199, the sales soared high! While Apple has already launched iPhone versions cheaper than the conventional $199 and $299 models, the last-year’s model slumped down to some $100. Well, if Apple says the iPod Nano is going to be cheaper than all the existing models so far, you’re in luck, if you know what I mean!
What’s worth noticing is the fact that if iPhone Nano is going to be fairly priced for the low-end customers, Apple could move it on their own without any carriers, which would allow users to buy the iPhone, and still pounce over every other network if they wish to. Currently, Apple sells two low-end models of iPhone, the iPhone 3GS 8 GB as well as the iPhone 4G 16 GB, for $99 and $199 respectively. Hence, we could easily do with an iPhone Nano that doesn’t have all that fuss of the data plan. Yes. Another buzz that’s zooming is with regards to the data plan. An 8GB iPhone Nano, with its own set of iPhone Nano apps, might come without a data plan, with limited screen. Well, even if it eats away the market hold of the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, it would bestow upon Apple an opportunity to garner all the necessary attention from the youth who can, although, afford an iPhone, but aren’t ready to take the fuss of the data plans.
On a personal note, iPhone Nano 2011 has the capability of shaking the current market hold that Apple has for the low-end. You see, now that we’re talking about attracting the younger generation to purchase the iPhone Nano without any data plan, we’re forgetting that Apple already owns a device that has lucrativeness coded all over it – iPod Touch ($99 model) and iPod Nano ($149 model). With more than 250,000 iPod Touch apps without a monthly plan, it’s ideal for the young. What’s more, statistics say that most of the Apple users spend their maximum money on Apple iTunes purchases. The launch of iPhone Nano could invade the market that is already under Apple’s domain. But then, the other side of the coin is that iPhone communication experience is a must for those Apple devotees who’re not so much into apps. An interesting bit is that Apple would make the device cheaper by using the components that were created for earlier models of the iPhone. Well, prices of old parts drop, don’t they?
Rumors and conjectures about the tech-candy called the iPhone Nano 2011 need to be studied some more. Howbeit, even without carriers, iPhone Nano is believed to be much, much better than those subsidized devices put forth by Android and other companies that are Android-based. After all, Apple has to keep its competitors at bay to sustain some level of the iOS market share.
